The Chamber's committees
are very active and meet regularly to conduct the
necessary research thus setting the stage for
ultimate policy adoption of the Board of Directors.
Committees
are led by a volunteer Chair, Vice-Chair and
professional staff to help shepherd the myriad of
issues which come before the Chamber and also are
the pivotal groups to work proactively to lead the
charge on the implementation of the 2007 Business
Plan of the organization.
Meeting dates and
times for all committees and events can be found on
the Chamber calendar.
Asian Business
Council
The Asian Business Council is comprised of Asian
Business Owners and managers in the greater San
Leandro Community. The Council meets every other
month on the 3rd Wednesday and explores issues
ranging from marketing to a diverse community to
international trade.

bodies, and the state and federal government. Ballot
measures are reviewed for position recommendation
prior to each election. Quarterly business
development updates are presented by the City of San
Leandro. A special California Legislature Lobbying
trip will take place in May. The committee meets the
third Monday of every month at Noon at the Chamber,
except for those months with a federal holiday
falling on the meeting date. (Visit the Chamber
Calendar of Events for specific meeting dates). Feel
