 Eden
Medical Center is a full-service, 302-bed
medical center with campuses in Castro Valley and
San Leandro, serving the health care needs of
residents of Alameda County and surrounding
communities. Eden is the regional trauma center for
Southern Alameda County and features many centers of
excellence, including neurosciences, orthopedics,
rehabilitation, women's health, skilled nursing,
adult psychiatry, and cancer care. Eden Medical
Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission
on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
Through our affiliation with Sutter Health, Eden
Medical Center is part of a large network of
non-profit hospitals and care centers in Northern
California and is linked to nearly 30 acute care
hospitals and 4,000 physicians throughout the
region. Together, we're working to improve the
health of our communities.

Neuroscience Center
The Sutter
East Bay Neuroscience Center provides the most
advanced medical and surgical care using minimally
invasive surgical techniques for the treatment of
brain tumors, vascular disorders, movement
disorders, and spinal and peripheral nerve problems.
An entire floor of Eden Medical Center is dedicated
to the highly specialized care of patients who have
had brain and spinal surgery, with a dedicated and
experienced staff trained to care for the special
needs of our patients.

Birthing Center
Our Birthing
Center is the heart of our medical and wellness
programs. Through its life-affirming presence, The
Birthing Center has shaped the warm and caring
atmosphere of the entire hospital. The physicians,
employees and volunteers of Eden Medical Center are

 The
Trauma Center
In 1987, Eden
Medical Center was designated by the Alameda County
Board of Supervisors to become the first Trauma
Center to serve the Southern Alameda County. Since
then, Eden has cared for more than 35,000 trauma
patients and their families, has demonstrated its
leadership in emergency and trauma medical care, and
has proven its commitment to the health of this
community through the toughest of times.
