Coffee Connection

San Leandro Chamber’s Premiere Morning Networking Event!  The host of this networking event is Jan Woycheshin, who along with her husband Paul, own and operate J&P Video Productions.  Coffee Connection meets the first Friday of every month - unless there is a holiday on that particular Friday, at which time it would be held the following Friday.  The location varies monthly and so does the speaker & topic but it is always at a Chamber Member’s business and of course the speaker is also a Chamber Member.  Continental breakfast and plenty of coffee are always on hand to help get your day started.

The requests to be a speaker at Coffee Connection start months in advance from year to year.  The popularity of this networking event has grown over the years making it the first recommendation to a new member or a prospective member to attend and start making connections. Remember to check the website calendar for the location and map link to the next Coffee Connection!

Senior Moments

If your business wishes to reach out to the Senior community, attend this monthly meeting.  Many other like businesses are in attendance and it has proven to be a wonderful catalyst to building lasting networking relationships that are important to Senior living.

Senior Moments meets the second Wednesday of the month from 9:00 to 10:30am.  There is a guest speaker each month presenting information that affects the Senior Community.  The meeting location varies monthly but is always at a Chamber Member’s business.  Refer to the website calendar often for dates, times and locations.

Asian Business Council

Networking and enjoying a light dinner begin the meeting.  The speaker most commonly is a Chamber Member offering information about their business service.  This is the perfect opportunity to meet others with the same passion for growing their businesses.

The Asian Business Council meets the third Wednesday of every other month, from 5:30 to 7:30pm at the San Leandro Main Library in the Trustee room or the Dave Karp room.  Open to Members and Non Members.  ($5 is collected at the door for the dinner provided.)
Yogurt Store Grand Opening

Latino Business Council

This networking meeting is an opportunity for business owners to get to know each other and share ideas of what works in their businesses and share resource information.

The Latino Business Council meets in the morning from 8:30 to 10:00am at the Chamber office.  This meeting is not regularly scheduled at this time.  Open to Members and Non Members.

Mixers

Mixers are another great way to network.  And if your business is hosting the mixer, they are a great way to invite potential clients and customers to find out more about your business.

Business cards are the entry fee.  It’s hard to meet everyone at the Mixer, so the Chamber staff or Ambassadors collect the cards and the following week ONLY Members will receive a spreadsheet of the names of all those in attendance.  Making it easier for you to follow up and start building relationships.

Mixers are scheduled when a Member business has indicated they would like to host a Chamber Mixer.  Typically there is one every month but not always on the same day of the week and the time frame is 5:30 to 7:00pm.  They are open to Members and Non Members.  Mixers are perceived not only as an opportunity to network but as a social gathering.  The host provides food and drink and sometimes music.  The Chamber will promote the event on its website encouraging everyone to come out and enjoy an awesome evening of dynamic networking.
